The Forum has agreed outputs.

For example:

1. To continue to develop the representation on the Trust and other groups.
2. To increase the number of third sector organisations involved in the Forum.
3. Increase the knowledge of the third sector issues as the political and economic environment changes.
4. Continually improve communication with the third sector on the issues.
5. Attempt to break down some of the barriers real or imaginary between the third and public sectors.
6. Explore ways of involving children and young people in the Forum.

During 2011 - 2012 we will be reviewing the role of the forum. This is due in part to the Children's Trust Board and Children's Plan no longer being statutory.The Children's Trust now has a different smaller structure. 

The changing environment in which the thrid sector operates is also something that the forum needs to reflect.
