What is Volunteering

This is when you choose to give your time and skills to benefit others without being paid for it. There is a whole range of different volunteering opportunities you can take part in.

What is The Supported Volunteering Project
The project will wotk with organisations to develop volunteer placements and provide support for disabled people to access the placements.

Disabilities can include mental health issues, learning disabilities, physical disability and sensory impairment.

The project is funded for twelve months by Bury Council Adult Care Services.
