Guidance from the Local Safeguarding Board suggests that there should be different levels of training based upon the amount and intensity of contact voluntary sector workers have with children and young people. They have broken this down into eight groups. Most third sector groups particularly small community and voluntary groups will be covered in the first three of these groups.
