The third sector and the public sector rely on each other to deliver quality public services. Working in partnership, these two diverse sectors co- ordinate their activities and resources to meet the needs of the people in Bury.

To be effective in these partnerships, third sector organisations need ways to ensure their views are heard and other partners value the diversity they bring. The Third Sector Assembly and "Working Together" the Bury Compact exist to ensure this happens.
