Collaboration, Delivering Public Services & TUPE (Date added 20th Jan 2012)
With public sector budgets being squeezed, third sector organisations (TSO’s) providing similar services for local authorities are being encouraged to work together to deliver cost-savings. Prior to submitting a tender document you might want to consider merging or forming a consortium to tender for the contract. For organisations that go down the route of competing rather than collaborating, it’s important that they give serious thought to TUPE as this can have serious implications. This information sheet gives more background.

Third Sector Assembly - Members Survey (date added 07/07/2011)
The Bury Third Sector Assembly was set up as a way for you and other third sector organisations to be consulted on issues that affect you; get your points of view heard by the public sector; and take collective action on issues that affect you and other third sector organisations. As an organisation who is either based in or works in the Bury area, you automatically qualify as a member.
Today you have the chance to influence how the Assembly can help your organisation.
