Assembly and partner documents

The Third Sector Assembly is a means to an end. It will help you and other third sector members of Bury to:

  • Get your points of view heard by the public sector.
  • Be consulted by the public sector
  • Work with other assembly members, discuss issues and take collective action.
  • Every member of the third sector operating in Bury is automatically a member of the assembly.
  • You have the right to vote and elect representatives to form a management board and sit on the Team Bury (Bury's local strategic partnership) family of partnerships.

The Team Bury candidate Briefing gives an introduction to Team Bury and the 9 ambitions for Bury.

The Team Bury partnership standard is a draft document that sets out principles for how partners should work together. It is part of "Working Together" the Bury Compact.

The Assembly Terms of Reference document sets out the purpose and intentions of the assembly along with how it will operate in practice.

The person specification and role description are included in one document, and these describe the qualities we are looking for in representatives and what the role involves.
