What is B3SDA?

B3SDA is a support organisation for the third sector in Bury. We currently have 610 organisations on our database. These include voluntary and community groups,faith groups, sports clubs, charities, social enterprise and co-operatives.

B3SDA is here to provide practical support to third sector organisations and opportunities for the third sector to work in partnership with public sector agencies such as Bury Council, NHS Bury, GM Police and GM Fire and Rescue Service.

We also work with members of the public to get them involved in volunteering and taking an active part in improving their communities.    

Our Services
B3SDA offers a range of services designed to help third sector organisations and volunteers across Bury, These include:

• A funding and organisational development service for third sector organisations;
• Bury Live - our quarterly newsletter and weekly email bulletin;
• The Bury volunteer services;
• A range of third sector forums and networks to facilitate partnership working both within the third sector and with the public sector;
• The workforce development project for third sector organisations working with children and young people;
• A range of training courses and factsheets to support the above work.
